By accessing this website or booking services through Kennels & K9s, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

All services are subject to availability.
Booking & Reservation Process
Submitting a reservation request through our website does not guarantee a confirmed booking. All reservations are subject to availability and approval by Kennels & K9s.
To finalize your reservation, all new clients must complete our onboarding process, which includes:

A Registration & Care Information Form

A Liability Waiver
-
Current vaccination records (when required)
Reservations are considered confirmed only after all required documentation has been received, reviewed, and approved.
Booking & Reservation Process
To schedule services with Kennels & K9s, clients must first complete the required onboarding process. This includes creating a client profile, providing accurate pet and owner information, completing all required forms, signing any applicable waivers, and submitting current vaccination records when required.
Reservations are not confirmed until approved by Kennels & K9s. Completing registration does not guarantee availability.
Meet & Greets
Complimentary Meet & Greets are available for new boarding, daycare, house sitting, and pet care clients. These appointments allow pets and owners to become familiar with Kennels & K9s before the first reservation.
Meet & Greets are scheduled for up to one hour but may conclude earlier depending on the pet's comfort level.
Medication
Medication Administration
Medication may be administered according to written owner instructions. Owners are responsible for providing medications in their original labeled containers along with clear dosing instructions.
Kennels & K9s reserves the right to decline administration of medications that present unreasonable risk or require specialized veterinary care.
Vaccination Requirements
Certain services, including boarding and daycare, require proof of current vaccinations before a reservation can be confirmed. Required vaccinations and preventative care are determined by Kennels & K9s and applicable Virginia regulations.
Failure to provide required documentation may result in cancellation or denial of service.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Clients are required to review and sign Kennels & K9s' Liability Waiver before services begin. The waiver outlines important information regarding the inherent risks associated with pet care, training, boarding, and house sitting services.
By scheduling services, clients acknowledge that pets are living animals whose behavior can be unpredictable and agree to provide complete and accurate information regarding their pet's health, temperament, and history.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Boarding & House Sitting
Owners are responsible for providing accurate feeding instructions, medication information, emergency contacts, and veterinary information before services begin.
Kennels & K9s reserves the right to seek emergency veterinary treatment if deemed necessary.
Any veterinary expenses incurred during care remain the responsibility of the pet owner.
Training Consultations
Kennels & K9s offers complimentary 30-minute consultations for prospective training clients. Consultations are intended to evaluate your dog's needs, discuss training goals, and recommend appropriate services.
Consultations are not training sessions.
Training Philosophy
Positive Reinforcement Training
Kennels & K9s utilizes Fear Free®, force-free, and positive reinforcement training methods. We do not use punishment-based techniques, prong collars, electronic collars, or intimidation as part of our standard training programs.
Clients agree to follow the recommended training plan and understand that results depend on consistency, participation, and the individual dog.
Exotic Pets
Non-Traditional Pets
House sitting services may be available for cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, fish, backyard poultry, and other companion animals. Owners are responsible for providing detailed care instructions, appropriate food, supplies, and habitat requirements.
Results Disclaimer
While every effort is made to help dogs achieve their training goals, Kennels & K9s cannot guarantee specific behavioral outcomes. Success depends on many factors, including the dog's temperament, health, learning history, and the owner's consistency in following training recommendations.
Limitation of Liability
Kennels & K9s takes every reasonable precaution to provide safe, professional care.
However, pet ownership carries inherent risks, including illness, injury, escape, and unpredictable behavior.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kennels & K9s shall not be held liable for injuries, illnesses, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.
