Cancellation Policy

Our House Sitting service allows your pets to remain comfortable in their familiar home environment while receiving personalized care. Please review the following policies before booking. House Sitting is required for first time clients. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service radius. A Meet & Greet is sometimes required for all new house sitting clients before the first reservation. This allows us to: Meet you and your pets Review your home's routine Collect keys, garage codes, or alarm instructions Discuss medications, feeding schedules, and expectations Ensure we're the right fit for your family's needs Reservation Requirements Reservations are not considered confirmed until: Your Client Profile is complete Your Pet Profile(s) are complete Your House Sitting Intake Form has been submitted All required agreements have been signed Vaccination records have been provided when applicable What's Included Depending on your selected service, house sitting may include: Feeding and fresh water Potty breaks Walks Playtime and enrichment Medication administration (when requested) Lots of love and companionship Basic home care such as bringing in mail, watering plants, rotating lights, or taking out trash (when requested) Drop-Off & Return Please provide your expected departure and return times when booking. If your travel plans change, notify Kennels & K9s as soon as possible so accommodations can be adjusted whenever possible. Clients are responsible for providing safe access to the home, including: House keys Garage codes Door codes Alarm instructions Emergency contact information Please notify us immediately if any access information changes before your reservation. If your pet becomes ill or injured during our care and you cannot be reached, you authorize Kennels & K9s to obtain veterinary treatment as deemed necessary. All veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the pet owner. For the safety of your pets and our caregivers: Aggressive behavior must be disclosed prior to booking. Pets must be current on required vaccinations when applicable. Pets showing signs of contagious illness may not be accepted. Holiday Reservations Holiday reservations are limited and may be subject to holiday pricing. For twice-daily drop-in care, requested visit times are not guaranteed until confirmed by Kennels & K9s. Reasonable time windows may be used to accommodate travel and other scheduled pet-care visits.
